The 30th International Electric Propulsion Conference is over.
The Organising Committee would like to thank all those who participated for making the event such a success. 
Although the conference is over, the website continues and will shortly be updated with the hundreds of photographs taken during the sessions and social events.
A "clickable" version of the Conference Proceedings is also being developed, to help browse the flash drive in a quicker and more effective way.
 
Keep checking the website from time to time and keep a sharp eye on the news page!!

September 13, 2007 - ORAL PRESENTATIONS

The time slot allocated to each paper is 30 minutes. This includes 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for questions from the floor. All presentations must be in a PowerPoint or a PDF format. Movie files must be in a MPEG, a WMV, an AVI, or a QuickTime format.

All presenting authors must report to the session room in the 30 minute slot before their session is due to start with a copy of the presentation and all supporting media (movie files, etc.) on a USB flash drive or CD/DVD disk to enable the presentation to be loaded onto a PC by the technical assistant present in each room.

All presentations will be displayed on a LCD projector. Each room will be equipped with a laser pointer.

September 13, 2007 - TECHNICAL PROGRAM

The latest version of the technical program,complete with chairpersons for each session, has been uploaded to the website. As some the room numbers have been modified, authors and session chairs are invited to consult the updated program and to email Tommaso Misuri (t.misuri@ing.unipi.it) with any queries.

September 3, 2007 - Help us to serve you better!

The option to pay on-site has been added to the on-line registration form, linked here for your convenience.  If you intend to come to the conference but do not wish to pay now, you are urged to complete the registration form using this function both to help us plan better for your arrival and save you time on-site.  If you do not wish to complete the registration form now, you may like to add your name and affiliation to the mask linked here and complete the registration form on-site, to enable us have a badge ready and waiting for you.  Payment on-site can be made by cash, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Pago Bancomat (Italian cards only) or international money order.

September 1, 2007 - COPYRIGHT

Please note that by submitting their papers to the conference authors grant an unlimited license to the Electric Rocket Propulsion Society (ERPS) to publish and distribute their works in print or electronic media, including the Internet. All other copyrights shall remain with the authors.

As the conference enters its final phases of preparation, the electric propulsion community has sadly lost one of its most eminent members, Dr. David Fearn.   His outstanding contribution to this field will be commemorated appropriately during the conference.

August 28, 2007 - FINAL PAPER SUBMISSION

We would like to remind authors that the deadline for final paper upload is Sunday the 2nd of September 2007.

July 18, 2007 - TECHNICAL PROGRAM

An overview of the Conference Technical Program has been provided. This includes a plenary session with overview papers, 80 technical sessions and social events. Full details can be found on the Technical Program page.

July 16, 2007 - ACCOMMODATIONS

The deadline for hotel reservations has been extended by two weeks until Sunday the 29th of July 2007, after which unsold rooms will be released for sale to the general public.  As the Conference falls during the highest peak of Florence's tourist season, participants are advised to make a reservation through the conference website before this date, or to make their own arrangements as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Rooms have been reserved at special rates through a booking agent, Newtours. The on-line reservation service will be activated shortly. Participants wishing to make a reservation may already do so via fax. Full details are provided on the Accommodation page, together with the complete list of Hotels.

April 20, 2007 - ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS

Response to the Call for Papers has been enthusiastic with over 330 submissions between oral and poster presentations. As requests to submit abstracts have continued to arrive after the deadline, it has been decided to leave the submission option open for a few more days. Of course, as long as this is active all authors are free to modify their submission or add new abstracts.

April 2, 2007 - POSTER SESSION

Due to a number of requests received, it has been decided to add poster as well as oral abstract submissions to IEPC 2007. This option is now active on the abstract submission form. Authors wishing to do so may therefore change a submission from 'oral' to 'poster' until the April 14th deadline. New poster submissions are also welcome.
